Community Leadership Workshop (CLeW)

On January 9, 2010, MAHOBY alumni held a Community Leadership Workshop for 54 students representing 20 schools at Millis High School in Millis, Massachusetts. The students enjoyed motivational speakers, Jayne Mattson and Evren Gunduz; a panel of high school students who are leaders in their communities; and a Leadership for Service project in which they packed backpacks with supplies for children in Afghanistan. These activities provoked exchanges with the speakers and meaningful group discussions. The enthusiastic staff was led by MAHOBY alumni, Irene Money, Taylor Hunt, and Meredith Clark. Taylor and Meredith (2009 alum) impressed everyone with their passion, decisiveness, and conviction. Their planning taught them a lot, but also made the 2010 CLeW an OUTSTANDING success!

We challenge all ambassadors to complete 100 hours of community service and to stay involved as you work through your freshman year in High School. You can download the futures kit by clicking here.
