on Saturday, November 3rd MA HOBY alumni and staff volunteered at Pine Street Inn, Boston. The goal was to help with the preparations for the over 600 meals to be served the next day for lunch. Volunteers were so excited and enthusiastic about the service that they went far and beyond just helping with the one meal for the next day and moved on to help with general preparations for other meals that needed to be prepared.

A little bit about the mission of Pine Street Inn:

"...Every night, more than 7,000 men, women and children in the City of Boston have no home. Founded in 1969, Pine Street Inn serves more than 1,600 homeless individuals daily and 11,000 annually, providing the full spectrum of services to help men and women reach their highest level of independence and get back to a place they can call home."
